HOW TO GET TO FIRE ISLAND
The LezVolley tournament takes place every year on the beaches of Cherry Grove, Fire Island. In order to get to Cherry Grove, you have to get to the Sayville Ferry (by car, bus or train) and take the ferry to Cherry Grove.

get to the Sayville ferry by Direct bus
Bay Bus offers daily & hassle-free nonstop trips between NYC (38th St at 6th Ave) and the Sayville ferry.
This means you will only ride with people who are also heading to Cherry Grove or the Pines.

get to the Sayville ferry by car
Use your GPS to get to the Sayville Ferry (41 River Road, Sayville NY 11782) and take the Long Island Expressway (I-495).
Once arrived, you will be able to park at the River Road Parking (50 River Rd, Sayville, NY 11782) and walk to the Ferry located less than 400ft away.

Take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to the Sayville station – check schedules and costs on the MTA/LIRR website, and book your tickets on the MTA eTix app.
At the Sayville train station, look for the Shuttle(s) to the Sayville Ferry that are typically a few feet away from the station and offer $6 rides to the Ferry (cash only).
The shuttle will drop you off at the Ferry that will take you to Cherry Grove, Fire Island.
